What Atlas collects

When you run a scan we collect the email address, business details, competitor names you submit, scan results and the web sources returned by the active AI provider. If you create an account, Firebase Authentication processes your sign-in and Atlas stores account, workspace, business and scan records in Firestore.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Atlas stores Stripe customer, subscription and checkout identifiers needed to provide paid services; card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Atlas.

AI providers

Visibility scans send buyer-intent prompts to the provider named on the scan. The launch provider is Perplexity Sonar accessed through Vercel AI Gateway. Do not submit secrets or confidential personal data in business or competitor fields.

Why we use the data

We use submitted data to deliver scans, audits, monitoring, account history, billing and service communications, and to improve the product. Free-scan emails may be used to follow up about the scan and Atlas services, subject to applicable law and your communication preferences.

Retention and your rights

We retain account and transaction records while needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion of personal data by contacting the operator using the contact details published for Atlas AI Index.

Security

Atlas uses server-side Firebase Admin access for application data and keeps direct Firestore client access disabled by default. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
